Walkley Family Benefit
James Anthony Walkley Dec. 23, 1988 - Sept. 23, 2017
Fountain Community Center is sponsoring a benefit for the Walkley family to help pay for funeral expenses of their son who passed away.
The benefit will be held at Manistee Pizza Hut on October 30th, 2017 from 4-8pm. 10% of ALL
proceeds will go to the family
We are accepting donations of any kind for silent auction and bake sale. Please contact Renee Pickard, Michelle Johnson, or Pastor Rick @ 231-277-8111 or 231-690-4591
Donations can be dropped off at the Community Center or we can pick them up
James Anthony Walkley, age 28, of Free Soil, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday,
Sept. 23, 2017.
He was born Dec. 23, 1988 in Ludington, to James and Krista (Slough) Walkley.
James worked for Schultz Excavating and Asphalt. In his spare time, James enjoyed
camping, riding his bike, and fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, Jim (Terri) Walkley and Krista Walkley; Siblings,
Mitchel Walkley and Katrina Walkley; half-sibling, Laurie Hanson, Austin Kops, and
Robert Kops; step-siblings, Heather, Ethan, and Phillip Cox; three step-daughters, Abby, Brooke, and Tayler; nieces and nephews, Mitchel, Cody Haven, Ethan, Megan, and
Aiden; and numerous cousins.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Free Soil with Pastor Roberts officiating.
