Grand Opening/Back to School
GRAND OPENING
Joy of Faith Mission's Store
3918 WEST MAIN STREET FOUNTAIN, MI. 49410
August 30, 2017: 11:00-4:00
Book bags available with school supplies until gone.
Come and see our new store!
Donations accepted.
People/families in need, please come!
Back to school book bags with school supplies, while supplies last, clothes for all ages. As our children return to school, no doubt preparations have started being made--a new backpack and school supplies, learning who the teacher is or what the new schedule will be. Some sports practices and games have already begun. As we make our plans, we thank God for our children and bring them before God in prayer. We ask His divine intercession for them.

Fountain Community Center Update
We have an update for the Community Center here in Fountain.
We have been going through some unexpected changes here and wish to pass them on to you.
The Senior Center & Youth Center has not been able to be open as often as we used to because of disagreements. I have taken a few steps back to look at the situation again and again... and I'm saddened that this has happened because it has affected the community... But it also has awakened, stronger than ever, the true vision of the Center's mission to serve the people of the community and surrounding areas, to link elbows and join forces with all who are doing the same and continue to move forward, these principles refuse to be forgotten or pushed aside by disagreements!
The Senior Center is for anyone that needs help or just wants to meet friends; it's a gathering place for all. Maybe for a Bingo Day, Craft Day or just a Coffee day or gather for Lunch Day or Pot Luck Dinners. The Senior Center also has computers with WiFi for those that are unable to access a computer. We will even help those that need help on a computer.
We also offer information on Help with heating bills for winter and we can help you fill out forms for The Department of Human Services or find out where you can go to get help. These are only a few of the things that we can offer anyone.
Effective August 1st, 2017, the Senior Center is going to open on a regular basis Tuesday thru Friday 11am-4pm.
We are moving the Youth Center to the upper level of the building so (watch for alternative youth events during this period)... at this point it is not operating for the kids... Also note that WiFi hours are 6am-9pm, and WiFi users must sign in to receive the password, which may change each week.
Let me tell you that we have plans to open a mission store and provide a space for unique items of interest. We would also like to see local Crafters/Artists display their work there. We are working on that as I write this... This will help us keep the Senior and Youth Centers open. We will accept donations of items for the Centers and we can always use volunteers to help out or just stop and give us ideas on what you would like to see at the Centers.
Again, I would like to say we are sorry for the inconvenience for those that were coming into the Center before the interruption of service, with hopes of your return.
Love, pray, serve!
Blessings,
The Ministry Team
Here when you need us.
Colossians 3:15 - And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
